About the DS Indoor Cricket Centre
The DS Indoor Cricket Centre (DSICC) is a landmark infrastructure initiative by the DS community to uplift cricket at DS Senanayake College and create modern training opportunities for present and future generations of DS cricketers.
The project was launched in June 2026 with the objective of developing a world-class indoor cricket training facility at the DS Senanayake College New Grounds, adjacent to the existing practice nets. The centre will provide year-round training access, advanced coaching support, and professional player development facilities.
Why This Project Matters
Cricket has always been an important part of the proud sporting heritage of DS Senanayake College. To compete at the highest level of school cricket, young players need access to modern facilities, technical coaching, fitness support, and performance analysis throughout the year.
DSICC is designed to create a high-performance environment where student cricketers can develop their skills, confidence, discipline, and professionalism.
Our Vision
To create a world-class indoor cricket training facility that nurtures future generations of cricketers, promotes sporting excellence, and leaves a lasting legacy for the DS community.
